John Stewart W. Muir concentrates his practice of law in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and product liability. Additional legal experience includes litigation of both civil and criminal cases, clients including the City of Chicago and the County of Cook in Illinois.
Since joining Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. in 2003, Mr. Muir has played a pivotal role in obtaining settlements and verdicts in excess of 37 million dollars.
Additional credentials and distinctions include: Staff Editor of The Law Review, John Marshall School of Law; International Law studies in Rome, Italy, Loyola Law School’s Rome Center program; and elected member in the Order of John Marshall, an honorary scholarship society. Mr. Muir was named one of the top forty lawyers under 40 to watch by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and has been featured in Chicago Lawyer.
Mr. Muir continues to be active in the John Marshall School of Law as a volunteer in several significant leadership roles.
