Colin M. Jones joined Salvi Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. in 2010. He concentrates his practice in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and products liability.
In 2012, Mr. Jones was selected as a member into The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40 organization. Additionally, the National Trial Lawyers selected him as one of the top 100 Attorneys in Illinois for 2011 and again in 2012.
Mr. Jones received his Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude from the University of Southern California and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Mr. Jones received the Cali award for academic excellence for achieving the highest grade in his legal writing section.
While in law school, Mr. Jones earned distinction competing on the American Bar Association Moot Court Team, where he and his partner advanced to the quarterfinals at the National Competition in New York. During his time at Loyola, Mr. Jones also practiced as a Supreme Court Rule 711 law clerk with the Chicago Cook County Public Defender, where he first chaired two felony trials, procuring not guilty verdicts for both of his clients.
Prior to joining Salvi Schostok & Pritchard, Mr. Jones was an associate at a personal injury firm in Beverly Hills where he litigated all types of personal injury matters.
Mr. Jones continually strives to expand his knowledge of the law and medicine and is currently enrolled in a graduate level Human Anatomy course at Northwestern University. He is also attending courses at the Prestigious Trail lawyers College with Gerry Spence where he is pursuing his 7-Step-Certification.
Additional credentials and distinctions include: National Institute of Trial Advocacy Trial Skills Workshop and membership in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and American Association of Justice.
