Salvi Law Firm Helps Recognize Area Disabled Students
PALATINE, IL – The United Cerebral Palsy Association (UCP) of Greater Chicago hosted its annual Infinitec North Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 26, at The Cotillion in Palatine, Illinois. Infinitec, a UCP assistive technology program, provides state of the art equipment, training and information about assistive technology to adults and children with disabilities. This year’s awards were once again given to local students who best used the benefits of technology to improve their lives.
“Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard recognizes the important work Infinitec does each day to advance independence and promote inclusive opportunities for those with disabilities,” said T.J. Saye, the Firm’s Chief Administrator and a UCP of Greater Chicago Board Member. “These technologies allow people to communicate – many who otherwise could not express their thoughts, feelings or needs through words or actions – can now read a book, write a letter, or have a conversation with friends and family. All basic necessitates that many of us take for granted.”
