Do not mail your essay. If you do so, it will not be accepted. Instead, please send your signed and scanned application form, a readable copy of your essay and a digital photo of yourself to email@example.com with “Scholarship Essay Contest” in the subject line of your e-mail.
Can I include references for my essay with hyperlinks to the respective sources?

Must I have any personal experience to write on a topic?
No. However, we have noted that students may choose to share their own experiences in the essay if they believe it is relevant the topic.

What type of permission?
We cannot provide legal advice. You are solely responsible for the appropriateness or legality of your essay. However, as a courtesy, we remind you that if you are writing about other people, especially concerning their personal health challenges, and you place that information on the Internet, privacy laws may apply.
