Partner Tom Mulroy performs at Prairie State legal Services 2019 Strike a Chord fundraiser

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. (May 17, 2019) – On Thursday, May 16, Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard Partner Thomas R. Mulroy III and his band-mate, Christina Ballester, performed at Prairie State legal Services’ 2019 Strike a Chord fundraiser.

Tom and Christina’s band was one of several musical acts performed by Lake County attorneys and judges. The musical duo performed three songs, including the “A Star is Born” hit “Shallow.”

This year’s fundraiser took place at O’Toole’s in Libertyville and raised funds for Prairie State Legal Services, an organization that offers free legal services for low income clients and those over the age of 60 who have serious civil legal problems.

Christina is Senior Care Claims Consultant at Medpro Group. The band’s name, “ex Cathedra” is a Latin term commonly used in the legal world which means “from the chair, with authority” and is referenced in Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird.
