LINCOLNSHIRE (Feb. 3, 2017) – Is there a better way to spend a freezing Friday night in February than in the warm confines of Viper Alley, with friends, music, food and drink… raising money for those in desperate need of your help?
The Michael Matters Foundation’s 2017 New Year, Same Wish event will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Vipir Alley in Lincolnshire. The annual event raises money to assist local brain cancer patients and their families through our partnerships with NorthShore University HealthSystem Kellogg Cancer Center, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Northwestern Medicine Chicago Proton Center and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
This year, multiple Emmy Award winning journalist Nicole Suarez will co-emcee the event. Nicole has been recognized by Michigan Avenue Magazine on their list of “Women Who are Changing Chicago,” and was recently featured in Esquire Magazine’s annual ‘Women We Love’.
A number of fantastic surprises are also in store including celebrity emcees and guests, and incredible auction items like a trip to Italy, Las Vegas, and The Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne, Florida.
The Michael Matters Foundation was founded in memory of one of our partners, Michael Schostok, who passed away from brain cancer in 2012.
