Patrick Salvi Receives Humanitarian Award

Patrick Salvi has earned numerous accolades over his trial lawyer career. However, few of these recognitions can compare to being selected as the honorary chair and recipient of the 2014 Judge Robert S. Smith, Jr. Humanitarian Award, which he received on October 4, 2014 in front of a packed St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Libertyville, Illinois.

The Judge Robert S. Smith, Jr. Humanitarian Award is bestowed each year at the Lake County Justinian Society’s Red Mass. Its purpose is to recognize a person with the faith, compassion and humanitarian qualities of the late Judge Robert S. Smith, Jr. Judge Smith was once described as “the kindest judge, the kindest lawyer, and the person who talked with a sweet voice and who took a loving approach to life.”

“I knew Judge Smith and the wonderful man he was,” said Pat. “I am humbled and appreciative to be associated with an award that bears his name… and encompasses the exceptional way he lived.”
