Shane B. Kelly joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. in 2026 and concentrates his practice in personal injury, medical malpractice, mass torts and product liability cases.
Before joining Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, Mr. Kelly was an associate at a national plaintiffs’ law firm where he specialized in prosecuting complex and high-profile antitrust cases. In that role, he represented consumers challenging anticompetitive conduct from some of the nation’s largest and most powerful corporations, including Amazon, Google, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster. In addition to his antitrust work, Mr. Kelly represented parents of pre-term infants who developed necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) after being fed formulas produced by the nation’s two largest formula manufacturers. Shane has broad experience briefing critical issues and appeals in federal district and appellate courts throughout the country.
Before transitioning to the plaintiffs’ bar, Mr. Kelly was a litigation and government-enforcement associate at an international law firm. He leverages his experience litigating complex cases against powerful corporate defendants to deliver exceptional results for his clients.
Throughout his career, Shane has also devoted significant time and effort to pro bono work. He is member of the Young Professionals Board for Chicago’s Center for Disability and Elder Law, which named him Volunteer of the Year in 2022.
Mr. Kelly is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. He graduated magna cum laude and the Order of the Coif from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.
In his free time, he enjoys running, going to concerts, cooking and woodworking.
