CHICAGO (September 21, 2017) – The Illinois personal injury law firm of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. has committed to finding local adoptable pets a loving home in 2017. We have teamed up with the Anti Cruelty Society in Chicago and Save-A-Pet in Grayslake to feature an adoptable pet every month.
This month, we are featuring Taffy the dog and Santi the Cat!
Santi is a quiet 11-year-old cat who warms up to soft pets. Santi would do best in a quiet home, but he will need to be given time to adjust to a new home. With time and patience he is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Santi is the recipient of the shelter’s Love of Abe Scholarship, and will have his adoption fee waived for his lucky adopter!
Taffy is a 1-year-old terrier pit bull mix who will need physically capable adopters who are willing and able to get her the exercise and manners training she needs. Taffy is very social with people, but has exhibited some dog reactivity in the shelter. Taffy is not a dog park/beach type of girl and will do best in a house with a yard. Making sure she gets plenty of playtime and teaching her some essential impulse control will be useful in harnessing Taffy’s adorable attentions. She is also extremely food motivated, and takes treats with a very hard mouth, so she’ll need to learn to soften up her treat-taking, and will likely do best in a home without any young children!
