About Patrick A. Salvi

Patrick A. Salvi concentrates his legal practice in several limited areas, primarily involving a trial practice in cases concerning severe personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and mass torts. Mr. Salvi has achieved record-breaking jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including serving as lead counsel in obtaining an Illinois record-high $148 million jury verdict and a Lake County record $33 million jury verdict. Under his leadership, the law firm has obtained more than 330 multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements totaling more than $2.0 billion on behalf of injury clients. Mr. Salvi is dedicated to helping his clients – individuals, families, or corporations – providing the highest level of professional legal representation.

In 1982, Mr. Salvi founded the law firm of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. (originally The Law Offices of Patrick A. Salvi) in Waukegan, Illinois. He is the sole owner, chairman, and Managing Equity Partner of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. The firm has 18 lawyers and is supported by more than 30 staff members, including paralegals, nurse paralegals, and administrative assistants. Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. have convenient office locations in Chicago and Waukegan.

Patrick Salvi is a nationally recognized attorney who has been listed as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” by Woodward/White, Inc., since 2005. In 2021, Mr. Salvi became the 26th individual to be presented with the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s prestigious Leonard M. Ring Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors a trial lawyer who has devoted their life and legal practice to the work ethic and high professional standards of the award’s name bearer.

More About PATRICK A. SALVI

In 2001, he was invited to become a fellow in the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers. In 2015, Mr. Salvi was selected to the Leading Lawyers Advisory Board. He currently serves on the American Association for Justice Leaders Forum.

Mr. Salvi is a former President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He served a three-year term from 2010 to 2012 as Chairman on the Character and Fitness, 2nd District Committee of the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar. He was appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Jury Instructions in Civil Cases in 2013. Additionally, Mr. Salvi serves as Chairman of the Notre Dame Law School Advisory Council.

Mr. Salvi and his wife, Lindy, have been married for 44 years and have 5 sons and 9 grandchildren.
