Tara R. Devine joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in March 2004. She concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and product liability cases.
Ms. Devine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, and her law degree from Marquette University. At Marquette, Tara was a Corporate Moot Court Member and was awarded First Place at the Ruby R. Vale Interschool National Competition.
Ms. Devine has achieved settlements on behalf of her clients in excess of $5 million in medical malpractice and wrongful death suits. One of her recent wrongful death trials involved a man who was killed while retrieving mail outside of his home when an automobile swerved off the road. In addition, Ms. Devine has successfully litigated cases including catastrophic automobile and motorcycle accidents, failure to timely diagnose cancer, and boating accidents.
Additional credentials and distinctions include: memberships in the Lake County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Devine is also involved with the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
