CHICAGO (July 30, 2025) – The family of a man killed in a shooting last year at Chicago’s Navy Pier is filing a wrongful death lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court. The victim’s employer and Navy Pier are named as respondents in discovery in the case.
The lawsuit claims that back in October, Raylon East, a disgruntled ex-employee of Levy Restaurants went through the back door of Navy Pier and fatally shot 47-year-old Peter Jennings.
