The female driver of the Nissan and a male child passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A female child passenger of the Nissan was airlifted to Lutheran General Hospital in critical condition.

The adult male driver in the minivan and a male teen passenger were transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in serious condition. The adult male driver of the Ford sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Technical Crash Investigations Unit and autopsies of the victims were scheduled for Friday morning.
