FOX32: Lance D. Northcutt discusses proposed news rules to protect wheelchairs on airplanes
CHICAGO – United States Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg proposed new rules that ensure wheelchairs arrive at their destination unharmed. These rules include training employees on how to handle mobility equipment and how to better handle interactions with passengers.
Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard Partner Lance D. Northcutt, who filed a lawsuit against Frontier Airlines on behalf of a woman whose wheelchair was lost for days by the airline, spoke with FOX 32 about the need for change and how the proposed new rules would benefit disabled people while traveling.
