ROCKFORD, Ill. (October 6, 2025) – On September 30, 2025, a Winnebago County jury awarded $67 million for a collision that killed two people and seriously injured one of the victim’s sons.

The Krischon family received $52 million – $15 million for the Estate of Fred Krischon and $37 million for Bob Krischon’s injuries – and the jury awarded the Estate of Ruthie Fairchild $15 million.
