CHICAGO (January 13, 2026) – Several new healthcare laws went into effect in Illinois at the start of 2026, including one new law that mandates implicit bias awareness training for healthcare workers. That training is now required for doctors, nurses, and physicians assistants to renew their license or obtain a new one.
