Eirene N. Salvi selected to Illinois Supreme Court Judicial Selection Committee

CHICAGO (July 31, 2024) – Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard attorney Eirene N. Salvi has been selected by Justice Joy V. Cunningham of the Supreme Court of Illinois to serve on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Judicial Selection Committee. The Committee will focus their efforts on evaluating the qualifications of those who apply for appointment to vacancies in the Supreme Court’s First District – Cook County.

Under the Illinois Constitution, judicial vacancies on the Circuit and Appellate Courts are filled on an interim basis by Supreme Court appointment. Appointed individuals then must run in the next election to maintain the seat.
