Five Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard employees honored with 2025 excellence awards

CHICAGO (December 19, 2025) – Each year, Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard recognizes a Partner and Associate Attorney with awards in memory of late Partner Michael P. Schostok and late Associate Elizabeth R. Olszewski. Both attorneys led tremendous careers and are missed dearly by those who had the privilege to know and work with them. In addition to the annual attorney awards, the firm honors two support staff employees with the “Employee of the Year” awards.

To determine the winners, Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. asks attorneys and support staff to vote on who they believe should win “The Michael P. Schostok Excellence Award,” “The Elizabeth R. Olszewski Commitment Award,” and the Employee of the Year awards.

The Michael P. Schostok Excellence Award honors a firm partner who possesses the highest standards of integrity, passion, and professionalism. The honoree will have recovered exceptional results for their clients, served as a mentor and coach to their peers, and helped others outside the firm through bar or community involvement.

The Elizabeth R. Olszewski Commitment Award recognizes an associate attorney who displays an exemplary work ethic, dedication to the legal profession, and commitment to professional advancement. The honoree will have been a valuable resource to firm partners, achieved exceptional results for their clients, and served others outside the firm through bar or community involvement.

The two Employee of the Year Awards are given to the top two support staff for their hard work, dedication, and passion for their job. The honorees will have been necessary components to the firm’s synergy, display a positive attitude, help others whenever possible, and make sure their work quality exceeds expectations.

This year, the Michael P. Schostok Excellence Award was awarded to Partner Matthew L. Williams. For the second year in a row, the Elizabeth R. Olszewski Commitment Award was awarded to Associate Jaclyn J. Kurth, and IT Professionals Cesar Salinas and Francisco Dominguez were honored with the two Employee of the Year Awards.

New in 2025, firm COO TJ Saye honored Comptroller Julie Freeman with the inaugural “Unsung Hero Award.” Each year, this award will be given to a staff member of great integrity and loyalty who might not get the recognition they deserve, but who serves a critical role at the firm the firm – quietly and steadfastly and often without the fanfare they deserve. This individual brings the highest-level of professionalism each day and provides an invaluable service to the firm and our clients.
