Beth A. Heffernan

Beth A. Heffernan joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., in 2012. She concentrates her legal practice on sports law, and currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel of Salvi Sports Enterprises LLC. In this role, Ms. Heffernan is responsible for overseeing all of the business and legal affairs of the Schaumburg Boomers, Gary SouthShore RailCats and North Shore Navigators, as well as the business development activities of Salvi Sports Enterprises LLC. With a background in business consulting, accounting and corporate taxation, Ms. Heffernan also provides counsel and strategic advice relating to potential acquisitions.

Ms. Heffernan received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, from Arizona State University and earned her Juris Doctor along with a Masters of Law in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, Ms. Heffernan was a Regional Champion and 3rd Place National Semi-Finalist of the American Association for Justice Trial Competition. She also served as President of the law school’s chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and studied Comparative Constitutional Law and International Trade Law at the University of Nairobi, College of Law, in Kenya.

Prior to joining Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, Ms. Heffernan was a Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP and Associate at KPMG LLP. During her tenure with KPMG, she worked abroad in the firm’s Sao Paulo, Brazil office, advising multinational businesses on inbound and outbound tax planning strategies. Ms. Heffernan also interned at the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of Chief Counsel and worked at Baker & McKenzie. Additional certifications include the Illinois State Bar.
