Don't Ignore Signs of Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect

Take action if you see signs that your loved one is being neglected or subjected to physical, emotional, sexual or financial abuse in a nursing home, including:

• Bedsores
• Unusual weight loss
• Cuts, bruises and fractures
• Missing money or possessions
• Depression or other changes in behavior
• Anxiety, fear or nervousness around certain staff members
