Tara R. Devine joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C., in March 2004. She concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.

Ms. Devine has helped achieve settlements on behalf of her clients in excess of $20 million dollars in personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death suits. In addition, Ms. Devine has successfully litigated catastrophic automobile, motorcycle and boating accidents. More recently, Ms. Devine has become involved and litigated several Nursing Home abuse and negligence cases. Ms. Devine is licensed and practices in Illinois and Wisconsin.
For her legal work, Ms. Devine was also named to the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s 2014 “40 Under Forty” attorney list, recognizing the top up and coming lawyers in Illinois. In 2015, she was named to the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s Emerging Lawyers, an honor given to the top 2% of lawyers in Illinois who are age 40 or younger or have practiced 10 years or less.
Ms. Devine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, and her law degree from Marquette University. Currently, Ms. Devine is an active Marquette alumni member and serves as a Committee member for the Annual Chicago Marquette Lawyer Reception.
Ms. Devine is a member of several legal organizations, including the Lake County Bar Association, where she sits on the association’s Diversity Committee. Ms. Devine is also involved with the American Association for Justice and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, where she serves on the Board of Advocates and has been a guest speaker at the association’s legal seminars. Additional credentials include: memberships in the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
