IT Assistant

Illinois law firm is adding an IT Assistant position to its team. Position would answer directly to IT Director and while mobile, would be primarily located in our Lake County office. The successful candidate should have 1-3 years of practical work experience, professionally mature, friendly, compassionate, hard-working, and reliable. Duties include; provide desktop and remote support to quickly diagnose/resolve software and or hardware incidents; keep proper records and documentation of IT related issues; ability to install, configure and roll out new equipment or updates; provide support to legal teams during trials (courtroom A/V, technical support and static/multimedia exhibits);and maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively. A Bachelor Degree in IT/CS is mandatory. Microsoft certifications or working knowledge and experience with the following: MS Windows Server OS, MS Windows Terminal Server, MS Windows Desktop OS (Win7-Win10), MS Office 365, MS SharePoint, and Citrix XenApp (VDI) are highly desirable. Deposition Clerk/Legal Secretary

Primary responsibilities include: deposition scheduling/calendaring, ordering/tracking medical records, and back-up reception/secretarial coverage.
