Highly respected Illinois law firm is adding an IT Assistant position to its dynamic team. This position would answer directly to our IT Director and while mobile, would be primarily located in our Lake County office. The successful candidate should have 1-3 years of practical work experience, professionally mature, friendly, compassionate, hard-working, and reliable. Duties include diagnosing/resolving software and hardware incidents including operating systems and a wide range of software applications; assist our staff with IT related incidents; provide support to legal teams during trials (courtroom A/V, technical support and static/multimedia exhibits); record, update and document IT requests; install and configure new equipment; resolve incidents as they occur and upgrade software and hardware; manage the upkeep of printers, copiers and scanners; and maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues. A Bachelor Degree in IT/CS is essential. MSCE/MCSA certifications are highly desirable.
