My ideal process for approaching a client is with sympathy and just open communication. A lot of times the clients that we deal with are at the worst spot in their lives. They wouldn't be here if they weren't. And so I think making sure that you acknowledge what they've been through and that they shouldn't have had to go through that is something that's really huge in making sure that they feel like they're being heard. Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard is very unique because they are a team.

On every case I've worked on, it's not just the attorney. There's multiple attorneys, assistants, paralegals, tech, and I think that makes them very unique because there's so many people working together for one client, and there's a lot of communication, and I think it really pays off. I am going to ensure open communication and trust with my clients by keeping them informed every step of the way. In one of the trials that I was on as a law clerk, I was with our client every day of trial, morning to night, keeping her informed of the witnesses and whatever motions or practices that were had that day. And I think it really kept her at ease and made her feel comfortable with the trial process.

And so I think letting them know all of those little steps and making sure that they feel fully informed of their case and their process is a great way to really earn their trust and make sure that they're being listened to.
