What to Do After an Uber or Lyft Rideshare Accident

What should you do if you are injured in an Uber or Lyft accident? After a rideshare collision, treat it like any standard car crash: call the police immediately and clearly explain your perspective to the responding officer. It is crucial that you explicitly document the vehicle was operating for a rideshare company like Uber or Lyft, and gather the driver's commercial insurance information to provide to your personal injury attorney.

What do I do after a rideshare accident?

[00:00:02.23] - Eirene N. Salvi
If you get into an accident with a rideshare company, you should do the same thing as you would do in a normal car crash, which is to call the police immediately and talk to the officer about what happened and what caused the collision from your perspective. If Uber or Lyft or other rideshare company might be involved, then make sure to have that information when you take down their insurance information so that you can give it to your lawyer.
