Sarah A. Ferrill

Sarah A. Ferrill joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in July 2009. She concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice and product liability cases.  Since joining the firm, Ms. Ferrill has served as lead trial counsel on behalf of a 32-year old woman and her husband alleging medical malpractice relating to complications that arose from a c-section after giving birth to twin girls. The Defendant health care providers denied any liability and no settlement offer was ever made prior to trial. After a week-long jury trial in Cook County, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the firm’s clients. More recently, Ms. Ferrill second chaired a wrongful death trial in McHenry County alongside Patrick Salvi, II, helping to secure a $1,275,000 verdict on behalf of the family who lost their 27 year old daughter in a head-on collision.

In addition to handling her own caseload, Ms. Ferrill works closely with Patrick Salvi, the firm’s managing equity partner in initiation, management, settlement, and trial of several of the firm’s cases.  This includes a recent record breaking $8.25 million wrongful death settlement and a $3,100,000 settlement on behalf of a family who lost their three-year-old son in a roller-coaster incident in Norridge, Illinois.  Ms. Ferrill plays an active role in initial case assessment and strategy and prides herself on developing close relationships with the firm’s clients from the inception of the engagement.  In addition to her work at the firm, Ms. Ferrill is an active participant in the DePaul Law School Litigation Lab class as well as a guest lecturer at Notre Dame Law School’s “Personal Injury Litigation” course.

“Sarah Ferrill was a pleasure to work with.  I appreciate her always getting back to me right away, and for her efforts in helping me in every way she could.  Thank you so much!”
