BUCHANAN COUNTY, IOWA (Salvi Law) – A former star of ABC’s “The Bachelor” was arrested early Tuesday morning for allegedly leaving the scene of a fatal car accident.
According to People, 35-year-old Chris Soules was driving a pickup truck that collided with the back of a tractor, sending both vehicles into a nearby ditch. The driver of the tractor was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Soules was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal car accident that left one individual dead. Soules was not charged with driving under the influence.
Soules starred on season 19 of The Bachelor in 2015 and proposed to contestant Whitney Bischoff of Chicago, Illinois. The pair broke off their engagement later that year.
